Kareley Carlos
Karely Carlos has worked for Stockton Unified for almost a decade as a science teacher (Biology, Environmental Resources- CTE). She is currently focusing on developing the Environmental Resources CTE pathway at Merlo Institute. Karely specializes in Green Technology and Environmental Resources. She teaches the Environmental Resources pathway, which targets getting students prepared for a future in green technology. During her time with Stockton Unified, she has centered around creating a school climate that focuses on environmental literacy and sustainable practices. Karely has received the Bob Thompson Excellence In Energy Award as well as the Green California Summit and Exposition Leadership Award in 2022 for focusing on energy implementation in the classrooms and taking lead in developing energy education on campus. Karely motivates students to realize the importance of sustainability and resilience.
