Gilbert Rosas, Director of Sustainability & Adaptation at Modesto City Schools, previously served as the energy manager for Stockton Unified School District for nearly a decade, helping the district secure $16.7 million in grant programs and utility rebates. His leadership has also helped SUSD add electric buses to its fleet, saving energy and cost. Gilbert has a passion for seeking environmental justice for disadvantaged communities through electric school bus initiatives. He currently serves on the World Resources Institute’s Electric School Bus Advisory Council.
