Doron Markus

Doron Markus, EdD is the San Mateo County Office of Education’s science and engineering coordinator. During his 23 years in education, he has taught science, health, mathematics, and history across all K–12 grade bands. He has served in various districts in Broward County, Florida and Westchester County, New York, and spent two years at the American School of Barcelona, Spain. He also served as a site administrator and district science coordinator in New York. He received his master of science in education administration from the College of New Rochelle in New Rochelle, New York, and his doctoral degree from St. John’s University in Queens, New York, with a focus on instructional leadership, curriculum development, and learning styles. He is the father of two elementary-aged boys, and currently lives in Oakland, California.
