Equity Initiative

GOALS

1. Build a strong professional learning community for CAELI members.
2. Collaborate to provide support and guidance for centering equity and using a Designing With the Margins model.
3. Contribute to CAELI Communications.

PROJECTS & WORKING GROUPS

This initiative includes three key projects in 2024-25:

• Support for Equity Integration into initiatives and hub: Focus on implementation of the equity-related practices outlined in the Equity Guidebook and offer office hours sessions to discuss and learn..
• Designing for the Margins Toolkit: Provide support and guidance for centering equity and using a Designing With the Margins model in the Innovation Hubs and CAELI-wide projects.
• Support CAELI Communications related to equity: Contribute to CAELI Communications to showcase how CAELI members and their organizations are advancing environmental literacy AND centering equity.
