Equity Initiative

The CAELI Equity Initiative promotes the ongoing equity literacy of all CAELI members by providing or linking members to professional learning opportunities so that they can strengthen their ability to center equity in their respective work plans and efforts and to help build each person’s equity literacy.

PROJECTS & WORKING GROUPS

This initiative includes three key projects in 2024-25:

Support for Equity Integration into initiatives and hub: Focus on implementation of the equity-related practices outlined in the Equity Guidebook and offer office hours sessions to discuss and learn..
Designing for the Margins Toolkit: Provide support and guidance for centering equity and using a Designing With the Margins model in the Innovation Hubs and CAELI-wide projects.
Support CAELI Communications related to equity: Contribute to CAELI Communications to showcase how CAELI members and their organizations are advancing environmental literacy AND centering equity.
