Jerry Song serves as an administrator in the Division of Instruction for the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), where he coordinates the district’s climate literacy initiative. He leads a team of over two hundred Climate Literacy Champions at schools throughout LAUSD, working to prepare students to be ready for the world, a world with complex problems like climate change, using a real-world problem-based transdisciplinary approach that highlights the rich culture and personal assets of our students to design solutions that contribute to helping our world achieve the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
