Katie Beck is a STEM coordinator for the Orange County Department of Education. For the past three years, Katie has worked with districts and teachers to provide professional learning on the Next Generation Science Standards and environmental literacy. Prior to her work at the county office, she was a classroom teacher for 20 years teaching a variety of subjects, ranging from middle school math and science to high school Advanced Placement Program physics and pre-calculus and everything in between.
