Climate Action Pathways for Schools

Kirk Anne Taylor has more than two decades experience in leading nonprofit and educational institutions. Kirk Anne currently serves as the executive director of Climate Action Pathways for Schools (CAPS) — a California-based nonprofit organization that supports youth-led climate action while helping school districts save money and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Prior to joining CAPS, Kirk Anne was the director of community engagement for Ten Strands where she led policy initiatives, managed communications, led strategic planning, and supported the California Environmental Literacy Initiative. Kirk Anne served as the inaugural executive director of ChangeScale — a partnership of organizations working together to equitably expand environmental learning in the San Francisco and Monterey Bay areas, and she served as the urban conservation manager for The Field Museum in Chicago, developing environmental education programming, facilitating teacher professional development, and supporting student-led, conservation-action projects for nearly a decade.
