Timothy Baird

Cup of Supe Consulting Services

Dr. Timothy Baird currently serves as the director of educational partnerships for the Green Schools National Network, helping schools and districts around the nation transform into sustainable, healthy, and equitable places of learning. Dr. Baird also runs his own consulting business, Cup of Supe Consulting Services, to assist school leaders in all aspects of educational management and district operations. Dr. Baird recently retired as the superintendent of the Encinitas Union School District (EUSD), after serving for 39 years as a public school educator. During his 10-year tenure in Encinitas, he prioritized environmental stewardship via green initiatives and health and wellness. Under Dr. Baird’s leadership, EUSD earned the California and US Green Ribbon District distinction awards for educational programs, technology use, and innovation. In addition, the district was able to establish Farm Lab, a 10-acre organic farm and student research and design center for all students that provides organic food to a food service program. He earned his EdD from the University of Southern California and his MA, administrative credential, teaching credential, and BA from California State University, Fullerton. He is a nationally recognized author and speaker for school innovation, sustainability, and educational leadership.
