Douglas Pentland

Douglas Pentland works with Roots of Success, an Environmental Literacy Apprenticeship and Pre-Apprenticeship program. Douglas started his career as a community organizer but has worked for the past decade in education as a Horticulture instructor in Rikers Island jail in NYC, a bilingual/dual language classroom teacher in Texas and WA state, as well as being a family coordinator and coach directing after school programs.
