Julia Gowin

Julia Gowin leads the CalFire Urban & Community Forestry program, which works to expand and improve the management of trees and related vegetation in communities throughout California. Julia is inspired by the way the natural environment impacts every part of our lives, and our everyday actions impact our natural environment. She believes that, starting with every child, every person should have access to and knowledge about our natural environment to help improve it and everyone’s quality of life.
