Araceli Moreno

Araceli Moreno (she/her) is a youth education advocate for the Central Valley at Save California Salmon. She has a BA in Linguistics from UC Davis and Masters in Education, Instruction and Curriculum Design, from the University of San Diego. Araceli is Hñähñu and Wixárika and an advocate for culturally relevant pedagogy in public education and immigration rights. She is part of the Save California Salmon (SCS) education team. SCS is a non-profit organization dedicated to policy change, education reform, and community advocacy in Northern California and aims to support Tribes and the general public in engaging in effective policy change, CA Native education, and healthy water & environmental advocacy.
