Meet-Ups and Conference Committee Working Group

This working group is focused on finding meaningful ways to bring CAELI members together for in-person meet-ups, as well as expanding the CAELI presence at conferences. There are sub-group efforts within CAELI innovation hubs that will focus on meet-ups and conferences, and the purpose of this CAELI-wide working group is to hold the big picture and help communicate this to the CAELI network, as well as bring consistency to what it looks like to host a CAELI meet-up and present on behalf of CAELI at a conference.

• CAELI Meet-Ups: This effort is focused on supporting statewide and regional CAELI in-person meet-ups. Examples include, but are not limited to: Green Technology’s Green California Schools and Community Colleges Summits; CISC (for COEs), AEOE (for CBPs), Green Ribbon Tours, CASE Environmental Literacy, and others. There is also a possibility of future regional meet-ups planned by CAELI.
• Conference Committee: This effort is focused on expanding the presence of CAELI members and work at a range of conferences across California and beyond. Examples of conferences include, but are not limited to: Green Technology’s Green California Schools and Community Colleges Summits, CASE, STEAM, CTE, ELA, Green Facilities Summit and Exp, CISC, and others.
